Le edicole chiudono: noi proviamo a riaprirle. Non per vendere giornali né gadget, ma per restituire spazio alle storie cancellate, alle lotte invisibili, alle voci che non trovano posto altrove. Dal 22 aprile 2023 Liberi è una redazione diffusa dentro la città: installazioni urbane, editoriali, affissioni, collaborazioni, percorsi collettivi. Un progetto autonomo e indipendente che attraversa conflitti sociali, territori, culture e pratiche di resistenza senza separare informazione, arte e spazio pubblico. Ci incontriamo sui tetti, nelle strade, davanti alle serrande abbassate delle vecchie edicole. Per immaginare nuovi spazi di visibilità per chi viene lasciato fuori dal racconto dominante. Ricerca. WHO WE ARE

Newspaper kiosks are closing: we are trying to reopen them. Not to sell newspapers or gadgets, but to give space back to erased stories, invisible struggles, and voices that find no place elsewhere. Since April 22, 2023, Liberi has become a distributed newsroom across the city: urban installations, editorials, public postings, collaborations, and collective paths. An autonomous and independent project that moves across social conflicts, territories, cultures, and practices of resistance, refusing to separate information, art, and public space. We meet on rooftops, in the streets, in front of the lowered shutters of abandoned newspaper kiosks. To imagine new spaces of visibility for those excluded from the dominant narrative. Research. Write. Edit. Document. Print. Paste. Spread. Build networks. Together, we create new spaces for urban information.
